Will you wear it again…?

Today, I told my mom that I think I am going to get a wedding dress made, rather than buy one – as all the shop ones are very big and puffy, and sparkly… She says to me “Will it be something you can wear again?” … I kinda looked at her out the corner of my eye and said “Umm, maybe if I get married again…!” … and then we both burst out laughing!
I know i’m not all for the flouncy pouncy dresses, but i do still want it to look like a wedding dress… if that makes sense?

I love this dress – haven’t you mentioned before you would like a colour underskirt …..

Have it made. Then it’s exactly what you want. And no you’ll never wear it again, but you *one day daughter* may one day xx

yes, i LOVE the coloured petticoat! no way you can find that in a shop! (altho, you could always remove the white petticoat and replace it…)

am 99% sure i’m gonna have a dress made :D how exciting! it seems so extravagant and luxurious!

My “one day daughter” … wow! there’s something I never thought of!

Ahem… I do believe, that if you have a dress thats not full length (I’m working on my personal assumption that I think I have an idea of the kind of wedding you would like) with peeping petticoats- then the likelihood of wearing it again is higher than having a full length gown made, simply because you can wear it with or without the petticoat and short is far less formal.
Just my 2c.

I do like angel’s idea of a short dress :)
and I think that having one designed is an AWESOME idea too
